I'm with Aleks on this one, the portrait style really grabs me. In #2, the natural blue reflection in the forground water reminds me of a painters blend. I also like how the sunlight is brightening up the vertical faces of the stepped rock.
I would imagine this is Pueblo Reservoir.

Thanks for the kind comments Aleksandra and Christopher.
It is Pueblo Res.
Both of these are gorgeous, but I agree with the others...#1 works best for me. I really like the inclusion of the foreground rocks. Nice job!

Klaus...you work is keep getting better and better. Beautiful first shot.... great colors all through and the water movement is also perfect..great foreground and sky. I like the second one too but I think you can work on to open up the foreground a bit more...keep them coming...regards, Rajeev.
Yeah the first one is awesome. I woke up this morning to take out the trash and noticed a great cloud layer that probably was an awesome sunrise earlier when I was sleeping... d'oh!
Just Beautiful! I also like the first one the best, the colors of the sky are just incredible! I miss Colorado sunsets, some of the most beautiful around!
