Here's one from this past winter; I shared a few from this awesome wandering among the Sequoias after the first big snow of the season. Here's one more, not a sequoia, but the lone tree, manzanita foreground, and perfect christmas tree stopped me in my tracks on my way back to the car... and I decided it was worth it to shoot the scene hope you like it - the details are hard to appreciate here, but do your best!

nice winter scenic Floris. I love seeing those kinds of fir trees w/ freshly fallen snow on them as you show here.

Very pretty, Floris. I like the various colors and textures. With the dark
tree trunks and the white snow you did a good job of handling the exposure.
I like the way the two front trees complement each other-- one tall with a
dark red trunk while the smaller tree to the right is snow clad with interesting
shapes and patterns; and as you said, it does look like a Christmas tree.
I remember your first postings from here, and while I remember the earlier one to be one gorgeous image, this one ain't bad either... :-) There are very few things more beautiful than a snow-covered landscape.
I really like the balance between the three main elements - the warm tones of the fir?, the "Christmas tree," and the snow-covered manzanita. The only thing I'm wondering about is whether or not the snow at the bottom is necessary? If anything, I guess it does help provide a solid foundation for the image.
Wow, another great Winter redwoods image! I really like the composition in this one with the full smaller tree next to the large redwoods. What a productive trip that was for you.
