Lone Road
This is right next to the post I posted yesterday, (I put a second image with that post this morning) with my take on it.

Another look at the "Corner Post"

I like this Corner Post even better. The white on the rocks draws you in and then your eye floats over both sides of the road and comes back down to the post. I like the angle of the post and the cloud a lot also.

I agree with Dena on the corner post shot. I really like the road shot too, the road really pulls you in, looks like I could step right into my monitor and onto the road.

Brad, I really like that second one. The soft lighting on the post and foreground grass works well and leads your eyes to the skyline. I would be tempted to crop a little of the top.

The lone road looks interesting too. You and Wayne must be holding back a few secret places that the rest of us didn't see.

Killer shots Brad. Both are top notch with the blue sky and contrast with the grasses. I like it....

Ditto to what has been said, 2 very nice images from the Flint Hills.

WOW, love the second image here Brad!! Just my kind of image with understated simple elements all combining into one heck of a composition. A little off the top works for me, and by the way ... print mine large! :toast:

p.s. Ken, I don't know where this was taken ... seems Brad is finding all the best locations!

Both are great shots. I love the vivid colors and the sense you could walk right into them as someone else mentioned. Nice work.

I like the road the best. The leading line and the bump of a hill and blue sky make it.
