Click on the photo of Bush to see the zoom-in. That was taken with a canon powershot, and the relatively cheap $380 gigapan engine, plus hours of stitching.
I was going to post this broader than CA forum, but not sure if it's appropriate to say "Digital Imaging" or "Gear review" forum...
It does, but if you look carefully, it takes hours. By hand it'd be days or weeks. Argh!

Ahh gotcha.
That photo is really cool. I like to zoom in and find things. Like Justice Roberts apparently asleep. And a bunch of people on the far right piling on top of a horse and rider statue. Also on the left, near some satellite dishes there is a guy with a large format, possibly speed graphic, camera.
