Abandoned Cottage
This is another cottage at Crystal Cove I took at the same time with the other images. I particularly like the triangled roofs, chipped walls and red flower in the FG. The BG is a little cluttered but eliminating it would make the image unbalanced.

Your suggestions and comments are welcomed. Canon 5DM2 8 sec at f/11 ISO 100 41mm. Converted to jpg from raw.

Andre, you seem to be out and about with access to interesting stuff. These old cottages seem to have a lot of history going on here from the looks of them. I know places like San Pedro and as far east as Redlands there are some great old Victorian homes that I'm sure would make some interesting subjects too. However, with a lot of those sites I'm sure you might need to get property releases to be shooting them for any wall hanging afterwards. Most people are more then willing to sign off on one in for just an 8x10 photo in exchange.

Very rustic Andre. I've seen a couple of this kind of style from you. Keep it up and you'll have a nice themed collection. You probably already do.

Hi, Paul & Steve -

Thanks for the nice comments. Now that you mentionted, I do have a special interest in run down, abandoned houses, and like to imagine their histories. Will share some of them later.
