Question about email notifications

I got 4 or 5 email notifications for the same post and I couldn't figure out why. I then realized that the poster had made edits to his text (very small changes) and each time it generated an email.

Kind of a pain, is this a setting that can be changed? So we only get one email per reply, and not simply because someone makes an edit?

Rodney, there is no setting for this though I can check with our programmer to see if edits can be excluded.
