I hate do do it, and I understand you folks not wanting to drive to Woodland for the workshop. It was a real nice gesture from Mark Fitzgerald to hold it for free and I thank him for that. Fact is we only have seven or eight people commiting and that just isn't worth it for everyone involved. I appreciate all the suggestions but we just couldn't find a place close by. I put alot of time into organizing this but I just could'nt get that last piece in place. I want to thank Curtis for coming up with the grange hall in Woodland and the other help he provided. I just want to say sorry to everyone who wanted to attend.

Thanks for putting the time out there to try and make it happen, it would have been a great event. If I ever hear of a place for doing this sort of thing I'll let you know so that it can happen next time. Hopefully next time we will already know of some potential places for the event.

Before I could find potential places, I had to see how many folks were interested before I found a venue.

Erik,

No matter where you hold it in the future in WA/OR, I am interested.

Thanks for all your effort.

There are some community centers that may be able to work something out. I was part of a Mustang club for a while before I got sick and just disappeared where we had club meetings at the Elsie Stuhr Center in Beaverton. I believe they let the club just use the room and the club would do things for the community center here and there as a thank you. Might be worth looking into. Most of the community centers tend to have decent sized rooms and there's a possibility of scoring one for free.

Is there any chance of rescheduling for the future? I'd be willing to help with some leg work in terms of getting information of possible venues.

Jay,
If you would like to get a hold of Mark, I have his info. I worked pretty hard an came up empty for a place to hold it. So, I have to tell you I am burnt out on the thought of doing it all over again. If you want to be the organizer of it, go for it.
