Spring keeps rolling on across the south plains. From dandilions, to bradford pears, to the dogwoods, to now most trees. The temps still swing. 80 two weeks ago. In the 30's last weekend, and in the 80's again today.
Here was a dogwood blooming out in Palo Pinto County today.

Okay Darren, make us folks north of you feel bad. Noticed my first tree flowering today, and others are just budding out.
Nice shot. We will have them in a few more weeks.

Well I guess someone has to be first.
I have tried and tried to get a composition that I like from my prairie-fire flowering crabapple trees and from nearby apple trees but have never gotten what I would consider a great shot. Very tough to get a pleasing comp with all that is going on in the bg usually.
