Dipper and Waterfall
20D, 100-400@135mm,f5,1/15sec,ISO100
Have seen this kind of image in my minds eye after watching these guys - spent yesterday morning trying to improve this shot and have isolated a slower shutter speed as getting better results with the water, but the Dipper never perched the right way round! Went for this after getting lots of close-up shots, so decided to switch to the 100-400 (which I haven't used for about 1 1/2 years!) and had forgotten how nice it is to have more framing options!
I echo the above - most people tend to focus on the bird and forget about the habitat it's in - you have jumped outside the box and captured a really special image
cheers

Thats one of the best Dipper shots I have had the pleasure to view, top top shot. One of your best shots you have posted Mark.
