This is my first post here. Crossed into your forum's territory many times. I spent almost a week in some of Arizona's deserts the first week in Febuaray.
I've always wanted to head down south here to Organ Pipe and check out the place. I didn't see any migrants w/ bails tied to their back holding an AK47. Glad I got that fear over with. I only spent a sunrise here so didn't really get to check it enough but I did find an area I'de like to check out for sunset sometime in the near future. This was one of the last shots I took before I left the area.
I love the color transition from the yellow and green in the fg to the green and brown. At first the image appears a little heavy on the right but I think the rock formation on the left balances it out quite nicely.

I like this, Steve. I wonder how it would look in B&W? Might be nice with the strong shapes/textures.
