Nice pose, but the twig by the head is annoyingly distracting. The image is soft as well - I guess due to the crop, or from using the 2x at the settings shown in the exif you've supplied.
This has the makings of a lovely image but for the nits.......
This is a bit like your last one in that it is an 'almost' shot for me - great pose and eye contact, but it is just too soft for my taste. This might be due to camera shake, or just using the converter? Maybe a boost in contrast could help a bit.

Hi Jeff,
I think the image looks much improved, although I can still make out some remnants of the twig. I also think the image would have more impact if cropped into a traditional portrait (480x720) loosing the twigs top right and a little off the left. Just my opinion.......see what you think.

Nice, the removal of the twig and boost to contrast has improved it no end, but still very soft. I'm guessing due the converter and crop, but may be improved with some extra sharpening.

Beautiful bird just a pity about the perch.

Lovely shot apart from the softness - thats just the way it is with a 2x but still better than no shot at all!
