Scenic in black and white: Burntside Lake II
Here's a second image from my trip to Burntside Lake last week. It was a gorgeous day indeed, so I thought I'd share another image from the day.

Canon 30D, Canon 10-22 at 10mm, manual settings, iso100, 1/80 at f22, handheld, converted to B&W in Photoshop.

Steve, 1st, a very cool composition. You say nice day, is that sarcasm because those clouds look like a front to me. Someday I'll get a good B/W shot.

No sarcasm, Bruce. The clouds are a front moving in, but the skies were still blue, the sun was still mostly out, and it was warm and calm. Plus, the fishing was good, too. Thus, a gorgeous day.

Interesting shot, I like the comp the clouds texture against the foreground. From your other post and this it looks like trees are rather sparse around the lake. I am sure there is a lot of detail in this in original.
