Here's some more experimenting on focus stacking...
I shot this stamen of a crocus flower from 14 different focal points and focus -stacked these 14 photographs in Photoshop to get this result.
The little "drops of gold" are pollen on the flower's stamen.

Beautiful shot! Great Color! What a process to create what you have in this image. Great abstraction when you see things this closely.
Check out Tony Sweet's work.

WOW loads of stacked lenses .You could do with the Canon mpe-65, just to cut down the lengh of it all .
Very nice looking stacked image
I'll be back to my stacked images when the summer comes

To Dave: Had a look at Tony Seets work and that looks very artistic!
To Alan: I am allready on the lookout for a Canon MPE-65 allthough when i use my 3x teleconverter coupled to my reversed 28mm i get the same results and the length of the set is not much bigger the the MPE 65.
Now this I do like very surreal and almost alien looking.... gotta question one thing though... you say handheld.... surely that is a mistake?
The MPE-65 is a superb objective I shall be hopefully using my work one a bit this year.... I am also going to be experimenting with an 80mm Leitz Photar.....
Looking forward to more....

Hi Phil,
You are right...
Used a tripod and macro rail so changed the exif!
Thanks!
I have also been working with enlargement lenses like the Leitz (i used a Nikkor 50mm EL) but am not convinced with them.. I prefer the reversed 28mm on extension tubes or on my 3x teleconverter.
