Great Falls of the Clear Fork
The Great Falls of the Clear Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth.

My secret spot here in town where I can walk along the river or in this case-in the river.

See more info on the falls on my blog.

I am leaving for Fort Worth Friday morning on a week-long study leave. How is the weather? I hope to spend a bit of time on the Trinity taking pictures while there.

I really like your low perspective - puts the water right in your face. I would crop from the top to completely eliminate the sky and focus on those nice cascades. You can get some really interesting perspectives with the 10 mm. I just bought one a few months ago and can't wait to finally get out and experiment.

Great DOF, almost looks like you used a tilt shift.

BTW: love your blog.

It must be nice to have such a compelling location within easy reach. I like the low perspective and repeating triangles in this frame Darren.
