I shot this when I was at the Crossing with the group. Straight across the creek was a locked gate with a sign for K. State. These gears were mounted on top of one of the gate posts.

Wow, Merle, I didn't even see the gate yet alone these gears. It's kind of a cool gate decoration. Great contrast between the rust color and the blue sky.
Hey Guys, From where my blue p/u was parked across the creek - just ahead of it and to the right was the gate. On the left side of the gate was this sign. It was kinda down and behind some weeds/rocks etc. Flamingo added for family joke......

I hadn't noticed this "decoration" before Merle. Like me with a camera, someone has too much time on their hands I think.
