Hi everyone,
I am after some manual focus Nikon lenses and hopefully someone here has a few kicking around they want shot of! In particular I am interested in the two below;
55mm f/2.8 Micro
100-300mm f/5.6 Zoom-Nikkor AIS
The lenses must be in good working order and optically perfect, I don't mind a few scratches on the casing though.
If you have any other manual focus lenses then email me the details. Please note that I am not interested in lenses with focal lengths less than 200mm.
Happy shooting,
Paul

Forgot to mention in the above post that I am also interested in a Nikon fit Tamron 200-400 F5.6 SP.
Aperture located in Museum Street, London specialise in good quality S/H Nikon gear andf have extensive stocks, otherwise Ebay UK for older manual focus lenses

Thanks Mike!
Didn't know about Aperture. I've tried ebay but it's often a hit and miss affair!

I've not followed Nikon s/h gear much, Aperture was the one I found held most stock, but the 3 main shops that I regularly scanned when considering secondhand lenses were;
Ffordes, MXV Photographic and when the $:£ is favourable KEH in USA. KEH descriptions tend to be the most understated of all, even their bargain (BGN) condition rated lenses are usually extremely good.
Another source of rare lenses/equipment is Nicholas Cameras in Camden High Street, London, but the owner drives a hard bargain and all prices are high end. If anyone visits the shop don't be put off by the pawn shop disarrayed appearance, the owner has an offsite warehouse where his main camera and lens collection is held. - You don't keep gold plated Leicas in a shop on Camden High Street for obvious reasons..... As most stock is off site you need to phone before visiting so he can have the equipment available to play with.

Thanks Mike!
That's great stuff! Didn't know those either! New gear I'm fine with but S/H not really got a clue but need to get my head around it as I need a few special lenses and the modern stuff just does give me what I need!
I can see a few lenses that I'm after in the first two stores you mentioned, so will be chasing them up this week!
I think you need to buy a copy of the weekly Amateur Photographer, all these shops have extensive secondhand equipment adverts, as do Mifsuds, the monthly glossies tend to have new equipment adverts only
