Down Memory Lane (Tetons)
Here's a couple shots from GTNP almost 17 years ago. This first one was waaaay underexposed, so I have some banding issues in the sky, but you get the idea. Taken from Signal Mountain overlooking ginormous Jackson Lake and Mt. Moran.

(Mamiya RB67 Pro-S, probably 90mm)

And here's a morning shot from String Lake. Check out the interesting cloud on the left that looks like a ghost about to pound on the peak. If I hadn't mentioned it, you might not notice, but now that I have, you can't not see it.

That second one is really grand!
The dead timber is interesting. Makes me wonder what the area looks like now.

And yeah, I see the 'ghost'....now it's all I think about when I view this image.

Newton rings.... that does bring back memories :)
I like both. The second one is timely - spring is coming to the mountains.

A ghost, or an ex-in-law?

Just sayin...

... or an elephant about ready to summit.

Where did you find a clean opening on Signal Mt to shoot from? I was up there about 9 years ago and there wasn't an opening to be had that didn't have trees in the near foreground cutting off the lake view. Love that ghost cloud!

The colors in the first are just sweet. The second is a different comp than I have seen before, and it's great.

#1 colors are awesome, what other old shots you got?
