This looks like a really cool place to make images Gale. The colors are very nice in this fall rendition. There seems to be a dark "shadow" at top right that extends down into the distant hillside which doesn't belong, not sure what caused it. I like the comp as is but find myself wishing for just a bit more fg room to enjoy.

Glad to see you posting! Hope all is well.

Gale, a wonderful view indeed. I have never made it to this spot but it is on my list! Thanks for sharing.

Wayne thank you for pointing out the dark shadow. I got a little to aggressive with a layer. Please take a look know and see what you think. I did shoot one with more FG also. I was thinking about posting asking which one is better just didn't take the time.

You continue to amaze and delight. The quality of the light reflected in the colors is just gorgeous. It is a photo worthy of any coffee table!

Gale, excellent photo. Perhaps my display but it appears a bit too blue to me, unless that is what you wanted?

To me the second image looks much better. Nice seemless blending and a foreground that anchors the beautiful colors and distant hillsides. Well done as usual Gale!

The fall color here is really spectacular, Gale...definitely one of my favorite places to visit, but ownership of the property could make future visits questionable. Anyone (Tim) have an update?

There is a crazy lady from the northeast that owns the land along the road that you hike in to get to Tea Table that has been very difficult to deal with - one day she wants everyone to some see this area, the next she is yelling about a lawsuit - she has put up a new gate with a no trespassing sign. The rocks themselves are located on forest service land but you must cross her property in order to get to them. Edd French owns land at the end of the road and next to the rocks and has given permission for the public to access his land via her road so it is legal to go there (he has an easement down the road for access to his property). Edd was considering selling his land recently - if that happens it would be up to the new land owner to allow public access or not. I don't know if Edd ever sold the land but will ask next time I see him. I have removed directions to Tea Table Rocks and the nearby waterfalls from my guidebooks due to the crazy lady and potential new land owner. (I replaced the waterfalls with the newly-discovered waterfall area in the Bear Creek Drainage - some really nice waterfalls for sure! These are in the new printing of the Arkansas Waterfalls Guidebook that is available now.)

This is a very special spot of land and it is too bad that it is "land locked" by private property, but if the new land owner does not want people there that is fine by me as private property rights win out over public access - the crazy lady really has no say if the other land owner grants permission, even though she wants to!
