Sunrise today from Unamed Peak 13,152ft.
Returning to a location I visited last month, Unamed Peak 13,152ft high above Loveland Pass. Thoughts on the this morning, face numbing winds, frozen fingers, numb toes, COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But on the plus side, nice VISUALS!!!!!!!

More shots

These are quick edits, their are some dust bunnies lingering around a couple of the images, I will take care of them later.

Canon 5D MkII
Canon 17-40MM

Well worth your chilled digits Jody. All are great. I especially like the wind patterns in the snow fields and the luscious colors.

2, 6 and 7 are all really nice. Looks like a fun morning even if the fingers froze.

Looking at those is like walking past the ring toss game at the traveling carnival: "Every one's a WINNER!"

They all have their charm, but I think 2, 6, and 7 outshine the others. The color in the clouds and the warm rays on the snow really got my attention, what a super morning you had!

Jody, these are great! I love the texture in the snow and the color in the sky. You actually inspired me to do the same and I spent nearly 12 hours looking for similar conditions yesterday, but didn't come away with anything half as good as these! :toast: Beautiful captures Jody!!!!
