Alpine Chough II
same specs as before, processed with a CRT monitor this time rather than laptop.

Although a cleaner shot, I don't find the downward shooting angle is as good. These birds were remarkeably nervous despite hanging about a very crowded restaurant every day, I tried going eye level to the birds but they just would not settle. Also as you would expect for crows they are very intelligent, mainly ariving at around 2pm when the maximum number of food plates were on the tables with most skiers departing the terraces, after half an hour or so they would start to disperse again

Hi Mike,

Other than the high pov you already mentioned, this is a nice shot of a bird I've never even seen.

Great shot :toast: :toast:

Shame about the POV but rendition of colours handled very well in those conditions.

I like the shot. I don't mind the high POV, I think its nice to have a variety of angles. The exposure's good as has been mentioned.
