I'm so glad you posted these Jeremy, these really are creative, unique and colourful. I think #1 is my favourite too, the colours blend well in that one. I look forward to flower season when you can create some more of these!.

Thanks everyone for the comments!
Bill, on the "keeper ratio", that's hard to say. Probably depends on the subject and what type of feeling you
are trying to convey. I had never thought of it that way before. I'll try thinking about that next time I make
some of these. Thanks!

15 repliesOT, in the sense that these were taken at the Denver Botanic Gardens
last fall.
I found some beds of flowers with layers of colors, then did some
camera motion on them. My intent was to make a sea of vibrant colors.
Thanks for looking.
Your intentions were realized...Interesting abstracts and real vibrant colors. I like what you did here.
Success! These are awesome! I like #1 best.
What do you guess the "keeper" ratio is on your motion blur experiments?
On a good day....1:10 - 1:100 - 1:1,000 ???
In #1 and #2 were you moving the camera in an arc?
I like the effect.
The first adjective that came to mind when I saw these was Carnaval in Rio. Very colorful!

I like the structure that jumps out in #2. Almost painterly.
