Black-Eared-Wheatear (M)
Black-Eared-Wheatear (M) - 0095
Taken from car, converted to a hide. 600mm f/4, 1/200 sec @ f10, tripod mounted, electrical cable release (MC-20) used. PP in CS2. Full Frame. Flipped horizontally.

Images of the set-up are available, but there are more than one. This, plus other reasons, I think it best that I don’t post them, but if anyone wants to view them, just contact me direct.

Nice simple shot Ray - great job on the exposure. It's a bit of a shame that you clipped all the little twigs on the left (if I'm right in assuming that they were the same length as those short stubby ones on the opposite side of the vertical stick?)

Hope that makes sense - at the moment I think it makes the shot a little unbalanced having those four twigs leaving the frame. A minor nit on a nice shot though.

very nice shot, a lovely looking bird in nice light, would have preferred a higher angle but still nice
