Beautiful! I love the way the clouds imitate or converge with the slant of the the aspens. I see animal tracks on the far left...what went through your photo?
Really lovely. It's good to know that there's still snow somewhere. I don't think I've seen any since I last saw you in Steamboat!! The wispy clouds and trees make a beautiful pattern here, and I like the simplicity of the comp and the sky color.

This will make a wonderful two-page spread in your next book!
Thank you all for your comments. Cynthia, I think it was a fox who made the tracks, I'm amazed you caught it on this small picture---it's very evident on the 34" print I made. Didn't want to overdo the sharpening for the web...it was unsharp mask at 100. I think the "Muddy Pass" name goes back to before the roads (Hwy. 40 in this case) were paved....
Very nice. I like the simplicity of the image, as if seeing and capturing this was a simple task. The tracks on the LHS leading back into the trees is interesting to me. I am trying to figure out what made the tracks and how far back they go. I am also trying to decide if they imbalance the image, or help. Since I can not decide they must help.
