Gerber Daisy
Playin around with some cut flowers. I put this in a shaded spot on the kitchen table and illuminated the inside with a flashlight.
Applied a decent amount of sharpening then selectively applied between 10-60% of an Orton effect to areas.

That a great effect! It's glowing from the outside in! I also like the detailed hairs.

Great studio work Brad! I don't recall seeing you post a flora image like this before. I like your setup and technique a lot, the result is very appealling. I think this could be even stronger with a crop off the top to just below the black areas. That way you carry the colors & tones throughout the upper portion of the frame.

Two mugs up on this one! :toast:

Beautiful work, Brad. I love the warm glow of the petals, and the sharpness is good throughout. Very nice!

Wow, this is really impressive, both the effect and the close in crop on the flowers.

Brad a beautiful close up shot. The glow of the light is really neat and really makes the color pop. The sharpness and detail is excellent also.
