I still do not think it will be much of a bloom and this aint a good image other than to show it, but I saw my first bluebonnet over the weekend.

The past few days have been very "green" here. Many plants are still in winter gray, but we have had a big jump in that new spring green and it is very nice! I just wish I had more weektime to enjoy it.

I am Fort Worth this week for study leave. I will look around for more of the little blue gems.

Thanks for posting. I'm headed to San Antonio next week for a conference and then a few days chasing Bluebonnets. Hope I can find some. Many reports are not too optimistic.

Thanks for the update Darren. It's a lovely shot the dew is amazing.I really want to shoot them sometime but I will wait for a better year.
