Hare in Dew
Thank you all for superb encouragement from the racing hare pic earlier .Another I'm afraid . This one taken just before sun up a week earlier .I liked the pastels and the sparkling dew . This little fellow was quite obliging allowing me to get portrait and landscape shots off before getting bored and tootling off into the mist.Too hasty on the drive and the machine gun effect was none too well recieved by them at short range. All C/C's recieved with thanks ..
Cropped side and top , slightly.

Another good one Mark. Nice lighting and of course the inquisitive look. :toast:

Nice one Mark :wavey:

Dew looks great, nice soft FG and BG, good subject isolation.

Only minor niggle is the defined linear boundary in the BG but that's very minor.

Good one matey :wavey: :wavey:

Another really good image! Only very minor nit for me already mentioned by Andy. How nice it would be to be able to pull that purple background all the way down to the hare's feet/foreground grass! You've inspired me to save up for the Sigma 500 (Canon well out of my range for now!).
Looking forward to more. :toast:

Mark,

I really like this image. Great detail, and pleasing colours. I like the linear boundary in the background.

Think this is a beautiful shot with wonderful use of DOF and colours. The highlights in the dew are super. I'm no expert judge of colour but it seems to have a slight reddish cast? Could be my eyes bleeding after a week hard at the computers at work though

Hello Mark.

This works well for me, very nice detail on the Hare and the background work well.

Nice work and good detail where it counts. It does seem to have a little cast but might be just because of that 'pink' BG.

Very nice mark, lovely image of the hare. Nice beads of dew and the wet front of the hare. Like it.

Beautiful, really beautiful. Perhaps could stand being a smidgen more central, but still a great shot.
