Cheyenne Bottoms Sunset
This is a shot from a recent trip to Cheyenne Bottoms, first time I had really had a chance to drive around there much. I hope to get back more often now. This is the same sunset Rob posted a photo of Pawnee Rock earlier.

Canon 40D, 24-105@28mm, ISO 400, f11, 1/50

A few more photos of the evening are online at:

Beautiful sunset, Scott. Glad you enjoyed your trip out to my part of the state.

Forgive my ignorance, but is this part of the Konza Prairie?
Beautiful sunset. Too bad there weren't any birds . . .

Thanks guys!

Daniel, Cheyenne Bottoms is a wetland in the center of the state so it is separate from Konza Prairie (Konza is up in the northeast corner). The Bottoms is a major migratory stop off so it can be a birders paradise. I say a few birds, but no good shots...I did have a really cool shot of some type of owl sitting on a fence post backlit by the sun, but it came out to soft to be a keeper :frown:

Scott really a pretty sunset shot. The contrast of the light and colors really makes it.

This is a well composed image Scott. Good foreground, mid-ground and sky to top it off. Well seen and done!
