To all of you lucky enough to get one early... do you have dust even though the dust shaker thing is there? I cannot see how this technology can miraculously remove any dust from that sensor given it's size. My 5D had dust on it after the first week of use....
Thanks,

I don't own the new 5DII, but the answer to your second implied question is: sticky tape. As I understand it, there is a small, sticky strip that the dust will fall on and hold.
Whether the dust problems are as bad as they were with the I model and how well the anti-dust mechanism works, I don't know from personal experience.

No spots for me so far (2+ months). I am changing lenses constantly, too.

You'll still get some dust, but the dust shaker does help quite a bit.

I had a (relatively) huge fiber fall on my sensor the second day I had the camera. No idea how it got there unless it was on the lens or back of the mirror, only one lens change on the camera. I needed to use a scope and blower to get it off, but since then the sensor has been really clean, much cleaner than my 30D's is.

I own a 5DMKII, actually this is my second one because the first came with dust in the sensor that could not be cleaned according to the Canon authorised repair shop. Then they exchanged it and the 2nd. came with 4 particles that could not be cleaned either. They are very minute and I can see them only if I zoom in at 100% or more. Canon came back to me with a letter stating that there is an "acceptable" amount of dust in sensors all the time. Honestly the spots are so minute and show up only at f/16 through f/22 that I just dropped the issue. The 5DMKII perfoms absolutely great and can't beat the 21 MP. All in all I'm extremely happy with it.
Thank you folks! I guess dust is a way of life for digital shooters

I have a couple of spots that are stubborn, but very small. Other dust has shown up and was removed by the dancing sensor. So it works fairly well! Certainly way better than the NOTHING that was on my Psycho Nuclear Dustball Electromagnet classic 5D.
I have Dust-Aid but haven't needed to use it in my two months with the 5D2. Honestly, the few spots that show up are no match for Photoshop.
I have some dust but nothing at all like I had become accustomed to with the 1Ds MKII. It really seems to work as advertised. The remaining dust is minimal and very easy to clean up in LR or PS.
