Anyone know some good photography jokes? Let's hear 'em..

What's the definition of a professional photographer?

Someone with 5 cameras, 7 lenses, 2 tripods and a spouse with 2 jobs.

I don't know any, Drew, but I do really like the What The Duck comic strip.

Actually, I collect lawyer jokes. For most of them, you can simply plug "photographer" in for "lawyer" and have the punchline work.

Hmmmm, I have the 5 cameras (2 digitoys, 2 35 mm, 1 4x5), 7 lenses (3 4x5 and 4 35mm) and two tripods (although one is dead), but not the spouse. I must not be a pro... I knew something was wrong with my business plan. :jump:

When WTD first came out, there were some photographer wannabes who simply didn't get it. As funny as I thought and still think the cartoon is, the reactions of the those photographers were even more amusing.

When I started in this business 30+ years ago, one of my mentors told me: Definition of a Professional Photographer - a guy with two cameras and a wife that works. Still true for a great many.

And another from 'way back when: How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: 6. One to change the bulb and 5 to stand around and talk about how they could have done it better.

New bride is complaining that it is taking her photographer too long to get the photos to her.
The photographer says that he wants everything to be perfect.

"WELL" the bride says "My friend Suzie got her pictures in 2 days".

The photographer responds that he wantes to be sure everything is perfect so he is looking at each image in PhotoShop.

"PhotoShop?" the bride asks. "What is PhotoShop"
The photographer responds - "PhotoShop is where we make the bitchy bride look really cute" :jump:
