The Alibi Room
Canon 5D Mk II
Canon 85mm f/1.2
1/250 sec @ f/5.6 ISO 800
Hand held

I took this image at Pike Place Market last January. Nancy & I were out doing street photography. The folks in the image were filming some sort of documentary.

So lemme know what yall think of this one please.

This is fantastic. The endless path with a transition from dark to light really works well.

I know this place. I've spent the last two months working in the 4 Seasons hotels private residences on the 15th, 17th and 19th floors. I'm actually heading up there again on Monday. I like it, the B&W gives this place the right feel. The texture of the cobble stones and building sides leads you out from the darkness of the alley to the light below. Good job.

This is really cool Rick. I love all the texture in brick and stone, and the contrast from dark to light. Excellent eye on this one! :toast:

Yes....great mood and style with this one, with the gadient of tones leading the eye well. It has a nice sense of place, although I do wish that top 'frame' element were parallel, but I suppose that's minor ;)

Really well done Rick. I love the way the light and the street lead you through the photo, and BW was a great call here. The "Post Alley" sign is perfectly placed.

It's sorta cool, Rick. I wish the people we separated a bit more though.

I like this a lot Rick, has a very European feel to it.
