Haven't been on as much as I'd like to have been in the last week or so due to work, but here's a shot that is a few frames on from the last one I posted, as the owl swerved up and away once it spotted me! As with the last shot I've done a bit more post-processing than I would usually. Added a bit of canvas on the left and cropped off the right as it was a bit tight due to the sudden change of direction! The height is the full frame. Used some filters in photoshop to improve the dirty grey background and I quite like the pastel sunset feel.
40D + 500mm, ISO 800 and f5.6 for 1/2000, +0.67ev (hadn't had a chance to drop the ISO from shots against a darker setting as it swooped over!)

Really like the pink magnus, great comp and clean feel to the image well done 'owlman'
Ps it was my seal shot

Very nice, the pink really works - it gives an early morning feel to it. Good composition too!

I like the comp and the filters have produced a pleasing background tone. Like it.

Lovely shot, the colours are amazing. Have you tried moving the bird to the right or adding canvas so it has something to fly into?
