Nice stuff, John. Desert Wing is really nice, but the last one is my favorite. It looks like something from a Yes album.

Those are simply wonderful! The single wing hoodoo,#3, and the mutiple wing hoodoos,#5, are my favs. Great light in both, but especially #5.

Great stuff, John! But how'd you get those rocks to balance like that?
Posted by Jesse Speer on March 21, 2009 at 11:45 PM
Wow, what a bizzare landscape. I like 3 and 5. Great self portrait idea too.

Some great shots John. I think I was practically in the tripod holes you used for #5 last week as well. Unfortunately, I didn't have the atmospherics you did. The Desert Wing shot is fantastic both in terms of light and the bizarre nature of the formation.

Amazing rock formations, wish my surveying job put me close to places like this :). I like the "Desert Wing" and "Stone wings at twilight" images the best, beautiful colours!.

Surf's, D Wing, and Stone Wings are tremendous - great detail, comps and light!

All of these are very cool John! Desert Wing is probably my favorite. The middle hoodoo in #2 is amzing with it's two arches.
