Just for natural history interest i.e. content/behaviour.
From research, I knew that these Kingfishers took lizards, mice as well as fish, so when I saw this bird flying along a line of trees, carrying a small brown object, and then dive inside the leaf canopy of a tree, I thought I would chance my arm. What I saw was the K’fisher knocking ten bails of s**t out of its prey on the bough it is perched on. I got around six shots, before it flew off with its mashed up meal.
I think the prey species, is one of the Bushchat’s, female.
