On Friday April 3rd a new photography gallery will be opening in the Tennyson Arts District... gallery nrc.
gallery nrc features emerging and established photographers from Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West. The gallery is located at 4424 Tennyson Street (behind the Oriental Theater and next to Bentwave Gallery which is owned by Chris Rice), and for this grand opening will be open from 6pm - 10pm.
For the first month the theme is images from around Denver, which is mostly work I have done as well as a couple of pieces from Chris Rice and Chris Lindley. I am starting to look for photographers to show work later this year and if you are interested in having your work on display check out the gallery nrc artist submissions page. Additionally you may stop by on Saturday April 4th to the event Chris and myself are having for photographers which is discussed in another thread.
For those of you on Facebook, you may also find the gallery nrc fan page which you may join.

Congrats on your new gallery Neil. I hope that it will be a great success for you.
I'll be there! Probably closer to 9 since I have some plans with my sister but she's pumped to check out the Denver Art Scene. Can't wait to see your space!
Congratulations on getting this up and running. Will definitely be there on the 4th and probably the 3rd too. I'm looking forward to seeing the gallery!

Thanks to those of you who made it out to the gallery opening in the changing weather conditions. It was a great turn out for First Friday.
The next First Friday is May 1st, and I hope that you can make it out to the event on Tennyson.
Talking to some friends of mine who had never been along Tennyson for First Friday they were amazed at how much fun they had with all the galleries and other shops/establishments along the way.
