D2X's + 600mm AFS II + 1.4 Conv.
1/640@f6.3.
ISO: 320.
Ex Comp: -0.7EV.
WB: Direct Sunlight.
Tone Comp Less Contrast.
Car Bean Bag etc.
Sunday afternoon got up very windy. Mr Hare doesn't like the wind so on the face of it it looked pretty grim.
However on one of my sites I discovered a worked field with a grassy headland with a wood on one side sheltering the spot from the wind. When I pulled up I hadn't realised two hares were sat down in the grass but I had spotted one coming over the field. He managed to find these two an then all hell let loose in front of me.
A slight blessing other than the angle I sat at. I resulted to being a contortionist hence only a few resultant images.

Lol
Love the detail and the soft muted tones Major and I like the effective motion blur too - envy rules

And another nice image... just wonder if I would prefer to see more of the hare beneath just so that it is recognisable as such.. great expressions they get...

Hi Major - great expressions and your long stints in the car are well worthwhile with this (I think) your favourite subject too!

Not far wrong with that Mark. Certainly one of my favourites not so sure about the long stints in the car. Usually crippled up by the time I am done.
Thanks for the comments on Hares everyone.
