I talked to a raft guide for the Dinosaur rafting trip. He says he can still give a 25% discount for a group of 5 or more. But he did ask if he would be able to use some of our photos from the trip for their web site. I said I'd have to ask others. I could take some pics of the rafts and people and provide a couple 600 pixel images for their web site with my copyright logo in the corner. So I just wanted to see if others would be willing to provide photos. Of course, I know Bill's son and maybe Bill's friend aren't photographers. But I don't think that would be an issue if we can get a few photographers to provide images.
There should be plenty of space for others to join later. So if there's anyone else who might be interested in joining, but still isn't sure, let me know. This is a nice, short trip for those who have never done a raft trip before. And if you would prefer one date over the other, let me know. The dates, again, are 5/22-5/24 (Fri-Sun) or 5/31-6/2 (Sun-Tues). I haven't chosen a date yet but will try to by next week and then we'll need 5 deposits of $100 each.

Grant, that sounds good. I have no problems donating images. My other friend is a photographer.
Regarding dates, my son would prefer the first weekend, since that includes the Memorial Day weekend and would cost him one less vacation day.
Hi Grant: I also don't mind donating photos. The best dates for me are still the second dates.

I've received an email from JoAnn & Dave from the last trip. They may be able to make it, but can't come on May 22. So I think I'll schedule this for May 31 unless anything changes in the next couple of days. I'm getting deja vu, since right now it looks like this trip may have nearly the same people as last year. Wish we could get another new person in Rod, but I'll just go with whatever trip has the most people as of the end of the day Thurs.

OK, I just booked my May 22 weekend. So, May 31 is the only option left for me also.

Okay, May 31 it is. I'm waiting to hear back from the raft guide regarding where to send the deposits. I'll email everyone when I know. The deposit is $100 and the remaining balance will be $316.50.
