It has been another interesting week in the Fauna gallery with posts from bees and dragonflies to tigers and dog-coyote hybrids. Herewith some of the highlights.
At the beginning of the week Richard Buquoi posted a sublime image of a frog waiting patiently for an insect to fly by in his post titled ’The waiting game’.
Luke Ormand witnessed a seal release recently and shared this nice moment with us through 3 images of a seal that did not want to be released! His portrait image of this seal with eyes that can make you melt ‘Are you sure I have to go?’ was the most strinking of his series.
Jess Lee posted a remarkable action photo of a running bear with a huge salmon in its jaws in his post ’Got one!’
In his first NPN post Subharghya Das shared with us his Valentine’s Day photograph! No, this was not a picture of him and his wife, but of two beautiful sisters, tiger sisters that is. This beautiful image ’Wild characters’ was followed by another impressive tiger image by him, a portrait titled ’Regal thirst’.
This week’s EP goes to Subharghya’s tiger sisters, a very artistic wildlife photo that undoubtedly will look great in large print on any wall.
Congrats to all!

I'm humbled to be considered with such other fine photographs :-). . . maybe if I'd had that seals brother in the picture I could have won :-)
