In the garden this morning.....
A shot from this morning in the garden.....of the gods! Nothing real special but a different perspective, I think? Light had a very muted warm glow very briefly.

Canon 5DMkII
Canon 17-40mmm

Nice shot Jody! The snow dusting really adds interest and you're right, definitely a different vantage point from any that I've seen.

My first temptation with the shot is to move up those rocks a little further to reduce the size of the foreground a bit (that's just me). However, doing that would probably reveal more of the road that you've hidden throughout the left hand side of the picture.

You always do great work!

It is a little different, and it's good! I like the snow and the different colors.

Man, that is some fugly light! Great comp, but it doesn't seem like one of yours, since you didn't have to climb for hours in darkness and brave frigid winds for hours to get it.

Hey you're not becoming a road shooter are you? :biggrin

Nice comp, tough light. You should go back Friday and nail it!

Hey, after tomorrow you could probably ski down one of those cliffs and get some great shots

I like the comp and the snowy foreground, Jody. This is certainly a place to go back to with better light.

Great job at getting an unusual perspective, you'll probably be hanging off the top of one of those fins the next time you're there!
