At least I think that's what this is, it looks like the maple I have in the yard. Found this budding out 2 weeks ago in Boen Gulf and have just now gotten around to processing it.

1/6 sec @ f11 70-300 Sigma lens

Orton effect applied.

Bruce, you've started with a very nice background and the range of colors & tones in this small scene is impressive. This is nice as is but may have benefitted from even more dof. I'm sure there will be plenty of wonderful stuff to shoot next month! Thanks for sharing.

Very nice Bruce. the colors and textures of the buds are beautiful. Yeah some more dof would have brought more into focus, but it is still a lovely shot.

Ok, for my own education I'm trying a repost to see if I can get the colors on the browser closer to PS3

I really like the second version, Bruce. The second one is much sharper, has fewer artifacts, and a cleaner background. Color looks the same.
