Elegant Pose-dipper
Photo showing one of my favorite birds in the uk, 'The Dipper', this is such a elegant pose i had to post it, this male was polishing himself up for the female who was just out of shot, he waited there in a dignified manner for a while, then after she made him wait he went onto display for her,a behaviour i captured on a previous post, hope you like it.

 nice work Craig and it fits the title very well. Some will of course prefer it to be looking into the frame but you explained your reasons and that's why it works well for me.

I like the shot. Why always looking into the frame. This is a great pose too imo.

Nice shot Craig, my main nit would be that you've over-sharpened it somewhat.

Good exposure:wavey:

Lovely shot, I really like the pose and composition. Loads of detail in there too, although I agree that it is a little oversharpened to my eyes.

Beautiful!

Nits covered, love the details on the slighly mossy log. Dont normally like front facing shots like this but it seems to work okay for me.

Love the pose and well captured in the sequence - 'tis a touch oversharpened though but easily remedied.

Lovely pose, maybe a bit oversharpened but nice comp and well exposed - not often you see these guys in good light and when you do they turn into white blobs!
