So I have been working on my website for what seems like forever now. I got back into it today taking advantage of the snow day  It looks like it's going to be one of those always in progress kind of projects but I wanted to see what feedback I could get here. Keep in mind I am not a software designer and I got a lot of help from friends when I got stuck on something, they all want to block my email and phone # by now. But bottom line is, it's really simple and amateur. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford one of the pros here build me a real website but for now this as good as I'm going to get.

Thanks!

Aleksandra.... cool, clean site. I think the gallery icons can be a bit bigger and the title font to each gallery, I think can be the same font as the website name and menu etc. Just my opinion.Your links page is not working yet..... I like your design and also your website name.... great job !!! regards, Rajeev. :toast: :toast:

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention that the links page isn't ready yet. Thanks for the comments Rajeev, I really appreciate it and will work on improvements.

That's a great start, Aleksandra. I also like your choice of website name.

You should use the "url" tags to hotlink your site.
Most of us are rather lazy and hate to copy and paste.

Aleks, I agree with Rajeev's coments, Nice job! Your ice shots are really cool too.

Very nice Aleks. It's very easy and straightforward to navigate. I like the layout of the gallery pages, although I agree with Rajeev that it would be nice if you could make the thumbnails larger. It's not really a big deal right now, but as the number of photos gets larger, it would be good to be able to see the thumbnails a bit better. The photos are stellar; you've done a great job.

Over all a very clean and well presented portfolio! I'm sure you will benefit from it well and over time you've left room to expand without the need of total redesign.

Aleks the only issue I have now is that on smaller displays your splashscreen slideshow is too large and users have to scroll down... definitely something to consider. Also you might want to make your header much tighter on top, so that it doesn't impede into the rest of the page -- keep working at it, it's a living thing

Aleks - I think you've got a great-looking site and the images you present are solid... love your Havasu Falls shot! Like others mentioned, a web site is never "finished", keep working it even after it's launched and don't wait until it's "perfect" to start promoting it... the most important thing is to get your work out there. And your current web site design represents what you're doing very well. Kudos, and keep it up!!
