Dipper Environment

Hi all,

I know, very similar to the last shot, but this was using a slower speed for the water - I think I prefer this effect and particularly liked the way his/her feet seem to rise out of the ghostly water. Can't work out the comp still - not sure what to leave in/out as the environment is so photogenic and I get a bit overwhelmed by all the details! Any ideas on comp/water appreciated - I can see a real standout shot opportunity here but just can't quite nail it!

Cheers,

Mark

There are so many crop options I think it would give me a headache...Personally I like this just as it is, a superb dipper in its very pretty habitat with just enough blur for the water to appear etherial...

Nice

The comp and environment works really well here for me and I like this kind of work a lot. Nice one.

Excellent, I like the comp as is. A brilliant capture technically too, I didn't know dippers could sit still for a 1/6 sec!!

It's another superb image, but for me, it doesn't surpass the first one with the full beak - that would be mighty hard though!

An excellent shot, showing the Dipper superbly, in what many perceive as it true habitat.
