I think I just died and went to heaven! Have you all seen what Fuji Film/Voightlander is coming out with? http://www.1854.eu/2009/02/fujifilms_killer_medium_format.html The Bessa is back, and boy, does it look something out of the past, bellows and all!
That looks nice, who needs a 5D when you have a Bessa!

That is very cool! I played with a handful of vintage medium format folders back a few years ago. They were a lot of fun and sort of neat to have a medium format that would fit into a jacket pocket. Almost makes me want to dust off the old scanner and buy some film....almost.

That is interesting, and you can switch between 6x6 and 6x7 formats!
I'm amazed that anyone would introduce a new medium format film camera today.
But they must feel there is enough of a market,,,somewhere.
The compactness is certainly appealing.

....especially at a price tag of 2000 Euros!!!! That’s well over $2500
Guess they are targeting collectors with some extra money to spare.
Very cool camera, though. I’d get one if I had extra money just taking up valuable real estate in my pockets…

That is a really cool camera, but I don't think a camera with a fixed lens is for me. On the other hand 100MP scans from a point and shoot would be really cool.
Voightlander has been making a series of Bessa 35mm rangefinders for years. They're very reasonably priced and I've thought about getting one, but can't justify another camera and lens system.

These nifty little niche cameras really make me want to spend money. Or have money, I guess.
Really 2K euros? Could it possibly really cost anywhere near that to produce? If they (Voightlander or Cosina or whoever) offered it for under $1000, I'd be all about it.
