Color vs BW
I thought the color version lacked punch so converted it to B&W using the B&W adjustment layer.

Oh by the way this was on Turnagain Pass, Alaska (south of Anchorage)

Color for me - I think it has enough contrast and blue, although the BW is excellent. I'm really enjoying your AK series - keep 'em comin'! The silhouetted FG trees really makes this image for me.

The B&W is good, but I prefer the color version as well.

I like the color, too. The creamy soft whites are great.

I also prefer the color for this one.

Color. The blue sky provides much needed balance. And the "cream" is really nice.

I prefer the B&W. I might go for the color if the blue were a little stronger.

I like the B&W. Nice forms among the different ridgelines and foreground trees.

Both!
Although I have a slight preference for the color version, the b&w has enough tonal qualities to be quite successful. Great capture, Don.

I love the crispness in the B&W version. Either way it's a winner!

I vote for color on this one.

Color for me. Losing the blue sky detracts enuf that the color stands out as the better shot. Maybe even enhance the blues a touch. Wonderful shot either way.
