Last summer I took a walk through the Goliath Natural Area on Mt. Evans. It was a cold rainy day and had some fun taking photos of the patterns among the old trunks. Going through some old files today, this one caught my attention.

Roger, I like this a lot, great tones and colors. I often find it hard to get the depth of field that I need for this kind of shot but you have done it well. It's the kind of shot that fires the imagination.

A great way to spend a cold an rainy day.
I see a river with tributaries running through a red rock canyon.

Very nice for sure. Looks like a sat photo of some delta. Love that cool blue streak running through the orange and black. Nice detail and texture, too.
This is yummy. These patterns never get old for me. I love any photo that makes me want to reach out and touch it, and this is definitely working. The texture, pattern, color, and sharpness throughout are all wonderful.
