Hi all, hope you are all well.

Here's one from last week, it was a nice change after an afternoon of only seeming to be able to photograph Robins !

All C&C welcome as always !

I'm not sure about this one to be honost. I don't bother about the comp but I think it's the background.
Just try F5.6 . I really think it will improve the BG.

Too far to the right and needs to be more in profile.

I really think tho’, that you have great potential here, assuming this was taken from a hide. If it was taken from your hide, then if you can, increase the distance between the perch and the B.G., this gives you greater flexibility re apertures.

Wow, another cable release user.

Hello Drew..

I like the pose of the bird, but I think you have been a little unlucky with the light on this one. I like the composition but feel a little more room on the right would make the bird sit in the frame better.

nice image, really like the composition and pose for this, but agree with the other comments that the background and light aren'tt quite there yet

Hi Drew, I like the composition very much. It is a completely different type of pose, and I like the way he is peering back into the frame. A shame about the light, but a great shot imho.

I really like the pose and the composition! I'd agree that the background could be better, but I still like the shot.
