I went for a hike today outside of Colorado Springs to do Cameron's Cone. It has been almost exactly twenty four hours since the blizzard hit, so I was curious to see how much snow there was. These were all taken with my old school Canon PowerShot A75 as I am between cameras. More can be seen on my flickr website. Thanks for looking and any comments/critiques welcome.

Nice shots. I like the BW in the first image. Nice texture in the snow.

NIce series, Justin. Does the cog mind people walking up their tracks?

Nice series - the snow waves and cog rail shot are very cool. What camera/system are you looking at?

Don,

Actually, we passed a few "no trespassing" signs on the mile or so we were on the cog tracks. From what I know, this is the only way to access Cameron's Cone, but maybe I'm wrong. Thanks for looking.

Dave,

Thanks for looking and commenting. As of now, I'm looking at getting the new Olympus E-620 with their 12-60 lens. We'll see what happens...I just need to keep saving. Thanks again for looking.
