This was the first chance I had to get out and make the most of the snow before it melted. Accompanied by Steven P, we headed to Settlers park in Boulder for sunrise. We explored some other areas in the morning too, but the images from here were the most productive. This first image is a 2 shot stich, at this size it doesn't do it justice unfortunatley.

One 20 to 30 mins or so after sunrise., amazing how quickly the light/color changes on the rock fins!.

#1 totally gets my vote, but #2 is nice too. I think #2 also works real well with a major crop to just below the pine tree on the left. You've got the megapixels to do that now! (I'm jealous). I work in Boulder and have never even considered shooting in Settler's park. Thanks for giving me some ideas, Nick!

Very nice, Nick! I favor #1, too! I think #2 is fine the way it is and wouldn't crop it (and you'd have to crop 2/3 out!). I like the contrast of shadow and light. Good work.

I like #1 as well, but I think I like the icicles even more.

Shouldn't you title your thread "Moore from Boulder"?
