Hey guys & gals. Hoping you can offer some guidance. I've got a gallery who wants a couple of BIG prints made up for display. It will be either 2 4 foot x 6 foot prints or 1 6-8 foot long pano.
Do any of you have any first hand experience or recommendations for labs that can handle this large of a file. The images will be stitched panos or stitched/tiled standard formats, so the resolution should be adequate at the proper viewing distance.
I prefer glossy prints with rich blacks, but I'm not opposed to printing on canvas if needed/required.
I won't be attempting to have these framed, but how would you mount something this large?
Anything you can recommend will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I use MyPhotoPipe to have panos printed (w/outstanding results!), but they may not have the larger sizes you wish. Check out the link, and send them an email to see if they can't customize something for you

West Coast imaging is stellar.

as the large print tech at a lab, I can only recommend our lab! We can print on several substrates. Glossy, Lustre, Fine Art papers, and two different canvases. We can print your panos, up to 43" x around 9 ft. long.

email me at cameragraphics@bellsouth.net or check out our website - we have ROES online ordering at www.cameragraphics.net - I am not sure how big I have the roes set up in the order section, but I can always create a new custom size for you!

and if you print elsewhere, well, I hope you get a great result regardless. :)
