Black Necked Grebe

Record shot only, but still very pleased to have seen this bird this morning. The location does not allow close access............which is a huge shame, but then again, perhaps for the best.....

I have been to many places that don't allow great access & yes it does make it a little hard to photograph subjects, but the wellbeing of the animal always comes first. Nicely captured even though it may just be a 'record' shot.

Drew

I got the chance to shoot these (photographically) last year, not easy, nice shot.

Hi Graham, it's a good record shot, although there seems to be a strange lighter area around the head and neck of the bird; did you try some selective tone adjustments?

Cheers,

Dan.
